This city is buzzing with the arrival of the Pan Am and Parapan Am games. We have seen the signs go up in preparation for the transformation of Toronto, and on July 10 the events truly kick off. We’re sure you’ve heard a lot about all of the sporting events that are going on, but there is also a great arts & culture program that will run in Toronto which goes hand in hand with the games.
PANAMANIA is the 35-day arts & culture festival that kicks off on July 10 at three main venues around the city: Nathan Phillips Square, CIBC Pan Am Park at the Exhibition, and PANAMANIA Live @ The Distillery District. Each venue will play host to hundreds of musical acts, comedians, art exhibitions, theatre shows, and much more throughout the 35 day run.
The main goal of PANAMANIA is to showcase the amazing artistic talents coming from all of the Pan Am countries. We’ll see breakout performances from Chromeo, The Roots, Lights, The Afro-Cuban All Stars, along with visual artists, dancers, and fashion designers among many others.
Are you interested in checking out PANAMANIA? Check out all of the acts and talent, along with the schedules for all three venues, right on their website.
