The Yonge & College neighbourhood sure isn’t what it used to be. Take a look at this photo from 1954 and it’s easy to see how the area has transformed into a hub for condos, grocery stores, shops, and offices in the last 60 years (and it’s really come along way since this famous duel took place in the early 1800’s).

Since Canderel Residential started developing College Park in 2002, they’ve brought close to 3,000 residents to the area. Today, there is close to 30,000 office workers and students who cross the Yonge & College corner daily. Just 1 block south at our Aura development, we’ve also created 180,000 square feet of retail space with stores like Marshall’s, Bed Bath and Beyond, as well as RBC, BMO, top restaurants (have you tried Reds Midtown?), Duke’s Refresher + Bar, Scaddabush, Madonna’s new gym Hard Candy Fitness, and even an underground food court with more boutique shopping. We have a huge variety of retail and entertainment to make sure that everyone in the area has access to everything they need just a couple steps away.

With College Park I and College Park II complete, and Aura getting closer to completion, Canderel Residential decided that they don’t want to leave the Yonge & College area - they’ve been developing the neighbourhood for over a decade and there is still so much potential. The newest project, YC Condos in dowtown Toronto, will continue Canderel Residential’s legacy in the neighbourhood by bringing people great suites and incredible amenities in the downtown core with an abundance of retail space at your doorstep.

YC Condos will be 66 storeys high and will feature three floors of world-class amenities. As the tower rendering shows, the new YC Condos in downtown Toronto won’t just be another glass box addition to the downtown core. Canderel Residential’s amazing architecture firm, Graziani + Corazza Architects, has designed a fashionable black and white building with extended balconies from top to bottom. Following suit with Canderel Residential’s other buildings, YC Condos will have convenient access to the subway, future PATH access, as well as retail at the podium and shopping and dining within a short walking distance.
