What’s the first thing you do when you buy your luxury Toronto penthouse?
Start thinking about decor, of course! One of the greatest parts about moving into a condo when you buy pre-construction is that you have a blank slate to work with when you get in there. Toronto is full of amazing design stores and many of them are very close to our future home. Toronto’s east side has established itself as an amazing area for picking up beautifully designed, high end furniture and here are some pieces we think would fit perfectly in our Penthouse Suites.
Tattoo Collection Bed by Gautier
Gautier, located at 230 Adelaide Street East, is a French furniture store that opened in 1960 during the French baby boom and quickly grew in size. Since then, they’ve opened locations all over the world, but Toronto’s location is the only one in North America. The slick and stylish design of this bed fits in perfectly with that of our penthouses, and we love how it’s low to the ground creating clean lines and lots of open space.
Parsons Dining Table by Andrew Richard Designs
With the amazing outdoor terrace and gas line that’s included with all of our Penthouse Suites, you’re going to need some awesome outdoor furniture. Andrew Richard Designs is definitely the place to go for that - they specialize in outdoor furniture! All of their pieces are designed in Toronto and you can find them at their shop on Adelaide Street East, or in high end hotels and restaurants all over the world. With the addition of this beautiful outdoor dining table you’re going to need some matching chairs. We suggest these.
Flexible design equals customization and that is what this couch is. With the option to configure the couch in countless shapes and styles, this couch, which is both comfortable and stylish, will fit into your decor no matter what your taste dictates. Paso Doble Desk by Resource Furniture

Many of our Penthouse Suites include den space, which really is free space in your condo for your imagination to run wild, but very often we see people convert the den into extra office space. This sleek desk will give you enough space to do your work without any clutter, and is definitely stylish enough to fit in with your decor. Head to Resource Furniture on Adelaide Street East to find out more about it, but don’t expect to pick it up any old time - each Paso Doble desk is made to order and needs about 12-16 weeks of lead time.
A house really turns into a home when you add a personal touch to it outside of all the necessities. Picking and choosing accent pieces in key spots will light your home with your personal style. We love adding extra light by reading chairs or in the bedroom to fill the space after the sun goes down (you won’t need it during the day with all the natural light) but adding a stylish light will be a decor addition that won’t fade away when it’s not in use. We love the Pablo Elise lamp from Ma Zone on Jarvis Street because its unique design. It would make the perfect addition to our new home!
